You know the distinct sound of a hummer and you freeze
thinking they're going to bury that long beak into your scalp! And then they fly right past leaving you
in awe of their delicate frame and speed!
They're fascinating to watch which is probably why so many of us put out
feeders or plant shrubs and flowers that attract them!
So it was with fanfare and excitement to discover, right
outside my kitchen window, a hummingbird nest! I just love watching new mamas tend to their
nest. Spring is definitely in the
air. But once the hummers leave home,
and as the warm weather turns hot, you'll be thinking of the long lost days of
spring.
Well it doesn't have to be that way. Keep spring alive by working up our
Hummingbird doily! The hummers and
pretty flowers will say spring all year long - or as long as you want
anyway!
